Fish Steaks Fried with Fragrant Spices – Recipe
- 4 Firm White Fish Steaks, cleaned and patted dry
- 1 tsp. ground dry red chilies
- 1 tsp. salt, or to taste
- ¼ tsp. turmeric
- Oil, for frying
- Combine first 4 ingredients together and set aside for ½ hour to marinate.
- Heat oil on medium-high until a bit of fish dropped in sizzles. Fry fish until golden brown, 15 minutes. Remove to dish lined with paper owl to drain oil.
Serve with lemon or lime wedges, sliced red onions and mint and green chili dip or as a side with rice or roti.
